GROWING IN GOD
GROWING IN NUMBER
We aim to grow our church communitry in number by offering a variety of worship styles across the benefice, including the best possible standards of music, preaching and liturgical practice. We celebrate the festivals of the liturgical year and offer a warm welcome to everyone.
Our Church buildings are open every day for those who wish to find peace, offer parayer and find the comfort of silence.
We aim to build friendships within the church community through fellowship and mutual support, fun activities, eg Harvest anmd Supper Knit & Natter and Men's Cooking club.
We delight and support those families marking life's key moments with baptisms, weddings and funerals.
GROWING YOUNGER
We have adopted the safeguarding policies and practices of the Church of England.
We welcome people of all ages to our worship and provide for children a space in the church in which to play. We hold Holiday Clubs and Activity Days and welcome local school children for study days and for worship as part of school activities.
We offer Open The Book.
GROWING IN DEPTH
Throughout the year there are opportunities to participate in small groups for Bible Study and debate, including Lent courses and confirmatiion classes.
Sermons aim to teach and deepen our faith.
GROWING IN SERVICE
As a church family we support a number of mission charities including our Diocesan link with Kagera in Tanzania and The Children's Society.
Church members are involved within the community to support local organisations and groups, for example, participating in the anual Hidden Gardens event, fostering our strong links with the Village Hall and their social activities and in supporting the local hospitality venues in offering a welcome to the many visitors who come to the village.
In all theses things we prayerfully seek to broaden our outreach and
engagement by looking for new
oppoirtunities to build the life and mission of church
